New trip, new schedule, new plans
New destination: Gardiner, Montana
Trip out by way of McKinney Texas and Cheyenne Wyoming
Purpose of trip: to volunteer as hosts in cabin section of Yellowstone Association
Excitement: Hmm, meter is off the charts!
Today we did a trial packing to see how much 'stuff' we can really get in a Honda CRV for a slightly longer trip. Looks like everything will fit, plus we'll have room to put the passenger seat back for naps while driving. You've got to love pre-planning sessions!
Next items to tackle: (1) making comfortable seat cushions for the CRV. It's not a comfortable ride, at least ours isn't...we went for the basic model upon original purchase. Something we continue to regret even though it gets great gas mileage and has pushed past the 100,000 mile mark; (2) an oil change and anti-freeze fill up for possible freezing weather.
So, there you have the basics of our next big adventure. More to come...
You have it all under control girlfriend......Lis
