Disclaimer...This post was scheduled to hit 2 days before it did. Best laid plans...
After we left the waterfall and lake area, we took the long way back to the Motel.
Now this is NOT what we expected to see. Talk about a fun surprise! There were sheep up the hill,sheep on the road,
sheep down the hill and one dog, laying very still by the side of the road where the sheep were crossing.
The dog never got up and as we passed him I saw there was a large black area on his rump. I really hope he had not been hit by a car trying to get the sheep across.
We got a chuckle seeing all the black butts headed up the hill.
At any rate, there were hundreds of sheep and it was a real trip to 'run' across them :) And here is the black sheep!
Bob can really pick the places to stay at can't he? As it turned out it was perfect. We were able to reach Bryce, Zion and see that part of the country with ease.
